MAD Designer Stage announced the grand opening of the first Hi End Áudio Themed Hotel in Europe – The Music Fable
Located at Swansea Bay, the Music Fable is Britain’s first Haute Fidelity (Hi Fi) themed boutique hotel, designed by MAD Designer Stage (The creator of MAD loudspeakers).
The building is crafted explicitly for Sound, Aesthetic, Scent and Sensory perfection, employed a box-in-box construction; the whole structure is reinforced with thousands of lateral bracings, resting on a uniquely designed suspension system by MAD Designer Stage; specially tuned at 22hz to reduce natural frequency resonance amplification! All floors are heated and consist of 7 layers of multi-composite materials, with different density, stiffness, and topped with a honeycomb structure layer to achieve a solid sub-base to achieve an unprecedented musical perfection and maximum level of comfort and enjoyment!
All wall partitions, ceilings and floor are isolated from the main structure, with no direct fixing attachment to the skeleton and mortar. The Grand Seaview Suite’s has clean power supplied through MAD’s proprietary ‘Balanced Power Isolation Platform’ specifically for all sound system. The interiors are decorated with tasteful artworks, transcending from Louis VIX, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Modern Italian & Oriental fusion.
Each area in the house was designed in different unique styling and seamlessly complimented each other. The quirky mansion of curiosity also featured 10,000’s of CDs, LPs, 78s, and a massive collection of Music playback mediums ranging from Gramophones, reel to reel, radiograms, valve (tube), solid-state amplification, turntables, CD players to modern Bluetooth wireless amplifications! It is a museum of music reproduction, a MAD Museum of music! Needless to says, it house a collection of some of the world best class audio systems, orchestrating with the speakers designed by the Loudspeaker Orchestra, with the MAD Designer Stage.
